This work takes more than us.
Samacitta is built by people who believe that emotional care is not someone else's job. If that's you — there's a place for you here.
How you can be part of this
Volunteer with us
Become a trained Pukar helpline volunteer, facilitate a Judaav dialogue circle, or support our training programmes. We invest deeply in our volunteers — with structured training, ongoing supervision, and a community of people who care about this work as much as you do.
What we look for: empathy, commitment, willingness to learn. No clinical background required — we'll train you.

Samacitta has been self-funded for over two years. To grow this work — to train more volunteers, reach more communities, and build real infrastructure — we need your support.
Your contribution directly funds volunteer training, helpline operations, community dialogue spaces, and emotional literacy workshops.
80G tax exemption registration has been applied for.

We ask for approximately 4 hours per week, contributing to helpline operations and community engagement activities.
We are in the process of obtaining 80G certification. We have provisional registration under Section 12AB (Form 10AC). Once 80G is approved, all donations will be eligible for tax exemption.
